This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a Request for Quote (RFQ) is being requested. Solicitation Number: 36C26320Q0386 The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-05. The VA anticipates the award of one Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for all resources and labor necessary to provide Testing and Certification, Maintenance, and Repair of Fume Hoods and Clinical Laboratory Biological Safety Cabinets (BSCs) to support the Nebraska Western Iowa Health Care System (NWIHCS) for the facilities of Omaha, Grand Island, and Lincoln Nebraska. The period of performance is from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021 and includes four (4) one-year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. Specific requirements are listed within the attached solicitation document. Contractor to be licensed and certified to perform the required services. Please refer to the solicitation document, Statement of Work (SOW), and Evaluation Factors for additional technical certification and qualification requirements. This procurement is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). At the time of submission of offer and prior to award, the offeror must be verified in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization s, Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database at https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/. Additionally, the firm shall have an active System for Award Management (SAM) registration at the time of offer and prior to contract award reflecting NAICS code 541380, Testing Laboratories. The Department of Labor, Service Contract Act, Labor Standards apply to this contract and the Department of Labor s Wage Determination is provided as an attachment to this notice; it specifies the minimum wages and fringe benefits for workers performing on or in connection with the contract.
