AIR AMBULANCE SERVICES This is a sources sought notice only and it is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified, potential contractors and their socio-economic size classification in accordance with NAICS code 621910 Ambulance Services. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After a review of the responses to this sources sought notice, a solicitation announcement may be posted. A response to this sources sought notice is not an adequate reply to a potentially forthcoming solicitation. The Minneapolis-Saint Paul VA Health Care System located at One Veterans Drive, Minneapolis, MN 55417, is seeking qualified potential contractors to provide air ambulance services. The work required consists of providing air transport to and from various areas within the coverage area to include Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, and North and South Dakota, furnishing the aircraft, all labor, supervision, management, management support, supplies, ancillary equipment, vehicles and materials necessary for accomplishment of transport of VA patients. It is estimated that 12,000 nautical miles per year of flight time will be needed for patient transport services to be provided by the contractor. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is a solicitation conducted using FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested. Solicitation number 36C26320Q0216 is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2019-02. This procurement is a total set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Prospective offerors must be registered and current in the System for Award Management (SAM) and Vendor Information Pages (VIP) databases at time of offer to the Government (https://www.sam.gov) (https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/).
