The contractor must perform mock audits, actions, and recommendations in accordance with The Joint Commission’s Physical Environment components, current MOUs, and categorical waivers between VHA and TJC. The assessment must address National Fire Protection Association 101 Life Safety Code requirements. At conclusion, the contractor must advise the facility of EC/LS deficiencies and related accreditation requirements. The purpose is to prepare the facility for an announced or unannounced TJC Accreditation Survey.
