The VA San Diego Healthcare System needs a one-time service to replace 60 batteries for the Main Server UPS in Bldg. 1 Room BB100-1, supporting backup power for the facility’s IT main servers. The contractor will verify UPS operation, place it in maintenance bypass, perform LOTO, remove and replace the UPS12-545PLP batteries with specified salient characteristics, reconnect terminals to torque specs, return the UPS to inverter mode, verify operation, submit a service report, and dispose of old batteries at an approved hazardous waste facility. Place of performance is VA San Diego Healthcare System, 3350 La Jolla Village Drive, San Diego, CA 92161-0002. The government will use responses to assess qualified sources and size classification under NAICS 33, and encourages capabilities, market, delivery, and general pricing information for planning purposes.
