This is a sources sought announcement for market research only; the VA seeks qualified small businesses, especially SDVOSB/VOSB, 8(a), HUBZone, and other small businesses capable of providing annual Medical Gas Inspection services for VA Loma Linda Healthcare System. Work will be performed at VA Loma Linda, 11201 Benton St., Loma Linda, CA 92357, under a base plus four-year period of performance from the start date, with work initiated within two weeks of POC contact and reports submitted within 14 days of completion. The contractor must provide all labor, supplies, equipment, and supervision to inspect and test medical gas sources, master/area alarms, zone valve boxes, outlets/inlets, bulk oxygen, emergency oxygen supply connections, booms/columns, and oxygen particulate and medical air dewpoint analyses. Services must comply with NFPA 99 2024, OSHA, Joint Commission, and ASSE 6000 standards, and be performed by licensed ASSE 6020 Medical Gas Inspectors and ASSE 6030 Medical Gas Verifiers, with an OSHA 30-hour safety card required. No subcontracting is anticipated, and if SDVOSB response is inadequate, an alternate set-aside or full-and-open competition may be considered.
