This is a Sources Sought/RFI for information and planning only, not a solicitation, to help VA determine qualified sources for leasing a brand-name-or-equal OC-Auto Sensor Diana Analyzer (Polymedco) used for fecal occult blood testing in the CSP 577 clinical research trial. The lease includes annual service, a manufacturer’s warranty with extended service after warranty, service hours of 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. EST, one preventive maintenance visit per year, and no analyzer shipping charges. Required supplies include OC-Sensor Diana latex reagent, buffer, wash solution, calibration, negative/positive controls, instrument cups, cell cuvettes, sample bottles, collection paper, and bulk mailers in specified quantities. Performance/use location is the VA Albuquerque Healthcare System, 2401 Centre Ave SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106. The VA will use responses for market research and may set aside the underlying solicitation for VOSB/SDVOSB if two or more certified firms can perform; NAICS is 334516 with a 1,000-employee size standard, and offered items must be on the vendor’s FSS/GSA contract and comply with non-manufacturer and Buy American requirements.
