This solicitation is set aside for SDVOSB concerns and seeks a firm-fixed-price contract for independent elevator inspection, certification, and testing services at the VA San Diego Healthcare System (3350 La Jolla Village Dr., San Diego, CA 92161). The work covers semi-annual and annual/CAT 1 inspections, maintenance reviews, safety testing, and 5-year/CAT 5 load testing for approximately 34 vertical transportation units, including elevators, dumbwaiters, wheelchair lifts, and cart lifts. The period of performance is one base year plus four option years, with work normally performed during weekday business hours. Contractor personnel must hold current ASME QEI-1 certifications and comply with applicable ASME, NFPA, OSHA, VA safety, and asbestos-related requirements. Inspection/test dates require at least 15 calendar days’ advance notice, and detailed reports must be submitted within 10 business days after each service.
