This amendment provides answers to vendor questions about the digital sign project. Two single-face LED displays are required: one at 6th Ave (90” wide x 40” tall x 13” deep) and one at the Ajo Gate (86” wide x 40” tall x 16” deep). The project is a turnkey, all-inclusive installation with new LED boards, fiber-optic connectivity (no radio or cellular), outdoor-appropriate resolution, and software to control displayed media. Performance locations are the 6th Ave and Ajo Gate sites.

This opportunity is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside for the installation of two outdoor digital communication signs at the Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System in Tucson, AZ. The contractor will remove aged hardware and install new vendor-provided hardware and software into existing sign cabinets and power sources at the Ajo Gate and 6th Ave Gate. Performance is scheduled from September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2027, with work during normal hours at the facility located at 3601 South 6th Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85723. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price award based on a comparative evaluation of price and past performance, with price being more important. Interested vendors must be registered in SAM and comply with VA security and credentialing requirements, including a Tier 1 background investigation for installers.
