This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number 36C26225Q0954 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) in conjunction with FAR -- Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Government intends to award a single, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award contract. (iii) The provisions and clauses in this document are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-03, January 1, 2025. (iv) This solicitation will be a total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set Aside, to a business associated with The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code, 339112, and the Small Business Administration s (SBA) size standard of 1,000 employees. (v) The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) seeks to make a procurement for microscope accessories for the VA San Diego HCS. This solicitation is being procured as a brand name or equal IAW 52.211-6 -- Brand Name or Equal. The submissions must meet the following salient characteristics: **All accessories must be compatible with Nikon microscopes currently in use at the VA San Diego HCS. 2 FTF Teaching Head Sets Must have optical/mechanical compatibility with existing Nikon CiL+ 200mm Focal Length microscopes - 60mm Parfocal Distance required. Couplers must mechanically attach and provide optical alignment to current Nikon microscopes. 3 Tablets/Elements L - Free Standing Tablets must offer 13.8 Touchscreen with a resolution of at least 2304 x 1536 (201 PPI). Included Elements L software must control existing Nikon Digital Sight Fi3 camera utilizing 5.9MP HD+ next generation Color CMOS 1/1.8 inch (6.91 x 4.92mm). Must provide capture, save, annotation, measurement, and video capture capability. Nikon Si KOH LED Microscope Must have optical/mechanical cross-compatibility with existing Nikon CiL+ 200mm Focal Length microscopes - 60mm Parfocal Distance required. Must fit in 403mm x 418mm x 236mm space, and weigh less than 6 kg. Must have 45 degree Binocular Tube inclination, provide Eye Width Adjustment and Dual Diopters, for both Right and Left Eyes for user comfort. Must have 5 place Reverse Nosepiece for accurate magnification selection. DelrinMetal Gears set required for precise Stage Control. Lower 135mm Stage height for Ergonomic safety required. Ergonomic Dermatology Microscope Parts Condenser must focus light utilizing Kohler Illumination for a 1x - 100x CFI60 Nikon objective on the current Nikon CiL+ LED microscopes, Must have Triple-Lens feature and optical/mechanical compatibility with existing microscope. The Eyelevel Risers and Spacer for Nosepiece must be optically designed for a Nikon 200mm Focal Length microscopes, with 60mm Parfocal Distance. Couplers must mechanically attach and provide optical alignment to current Nikon microscopes. Blue Light Blocking filter must work to reduce Blue Light for optical safety/comfort for users. Camera Parts Cables must transmit appropriate signal from Nikon CiL+ microscope to Tablet Controller, signaling Elements L to capture images while capturing accurate Measurement Meta-data, without the user taking their hand off the microscope.
