This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number 36C26225Q0775 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) in conjunction with FAR -- Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Government intends to award a single, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award contract. (iii) The provisions and clauses in this document are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-03, January 1, 2025. (iv) This solicitation will be unrestricted, to a business associated with The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code, 339112, and the Small Business Administration s (SBA) size standard of 1,000 employees. (v) The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) seeks to make a procurement for dosimeter equipment for the VA Long Beach Healthcare System. This solicitation is being procured as a brand name or equal IAW 52.211-6 -- Brand Name or Equal. The submissions must meet the following salient characteristics: Must be an electrometer that can be used for radiation therapy treatment planning. Reference class electrometer must be fully compliant with current radiation oncology equipment on site at the VA Long Beach. Reference class electrometer must have accredited calibration based on national standards. Reference class electrometer must have a built in 2D code scanner. Must have intelligent detector recognition (IDR). Must have automated functionality. Detectors and phantoms must be able to be used for reference dosimetry. Equipment must be able to manage up to 100 different detectors simultaneously. Must have a color display with a touchscreen The information identified above is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive and to indicate the quality and services that will be satisfactory. It is the responsibility of the interested source to demonstrate to the government that the interested parties can provide the services that fulfill the required specifications.
