This is not a request for a proposal. The intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to notify potential offerors of a Performance-Based contract for Software/Hardware Maintenance and Technical Support for Government Owned Avigilon CCTV System at Jennifer Moreno Medical Center, San Diego VA Healthcare System, San Diego, California 92161. The Contractor shall provide labor, materials, and on-site hardware and software maintenance support which includes report generation, software upgrades (Avigilon Licenses/software/firmware updates new releases- as available), OS patches, virus protection, system configuration, response plan implementation, and other such support required for operation In Accordance With (IAW) the Statement of Work (SOW). This software shall be fully distributed solution designed for multi-site, multi-server installation requiring continuous surveillance with support for devices from different Contractors. All software components shall be part of the manufacturer s standard software product officering and shall be thoroughly tested and proven in reference installations. The vendor shall provide a training program for operators, users, administrators, and maintainers. Work shall comply with government and commercial standards. All work performed by the contractor shall be performed in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, Veterans Administration standards, instructions, and commercial practices. The Veterans Administration intends to issue a formal solicitation to System for Award Management (SAM.gov) on or about 26 August 2024, under the solicitation number 36C26224Q1737. The solicitation will result in a firm-fixed priced contract. This requirement is being solicited as a Service-Disabled small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 811210, Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, applies to this acquisition. The size standard is $34 million. The contract award will be made based on Comparative Analysis (FAR 13.106-2(b)). All instructions for submitting quotes will be provided in the solicitation. Paper copies will not be available. Potential quoters are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of this document and subsequent amendments. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered and marked active in the SAM. If necessary, register via the SAM website www.sam.gov.
