This is a Sources Sought/RFI/RFI only. The purpose of this Sources Sought/RFI/RFI is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 339112 (size standard of 1,000 Employees). Responses to this Sources Sought/RFI will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this Sources Sought/RFI, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this Sources Sought/RFI synopsis are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement. It is the responsibility of the interested source to demonstrate to the government that the interested parties can provide the supplies/services that fulfill the required specifications. If you are interested and are capable of providing the sought-out supplies/services, please provide the requested information as well as the information indicated below. The system must image the breast specimen 360 degrees in the Axial, Sagittal and Coronal views and display the results in 3D and 2D 2. The system must have a door that auto opens when the specimen is ready to be imaged. 3 System must image and display the breast specimen in 2D automatically at 45 and 90 degrees without having to manually turn the specimen to get the 2 views in 2D. 4. Must have separate containers for the right and left breast specimens labeled Superior, Inferior, Lateral, Medial, Posterior, Anterior. 5. The displayed images shall be clearly marked on the monitor to match the containers. 6. System must be designed to be used in the operating room without a keyboard. 7. System must have a backup battery to allow the system to be moved from room to room without powering on and off. 8. System must be fully contained regarding radiation exposure to the users.
