Pre-solicitation Synopsis This is not a request for a proposal. This pre-solicitation synopsis intends to notify potential offerors of a possible contract for Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist (CDIS) - Auditing Services - Base Plus + Option Years for VA San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS. Service is for abstracting medical record data and assigning codes using current clinical classification systems appropriate for the type of care provided. The Contractor shall provide Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist (CDIS) - Auditing Services Per the Statement of Work (SOW). Work shall comply with government and commercial standards. The Contractor shall perform all work following all applicable laws, regulations, Veterans Administration standards, instructions, and commercial practices. The Veterans Administration intends to issue a formal solicitation to System for Award Management.gov (SAM) on or about 20 April 2024, under the solicitation number 36C26224Q1023. The solicitation will result in a firm-fixed-priced contract. The contracting office will solicit this requirement as a service-disabled small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541219, Other Accounting Services, applies to this acquisition. The size standard is $25.0 million. The contracting office will award the potential contract based on the Best Value Trade Off (FAR 15.101-1). The contracting office will provide all instructions for submitting quotes in the solicitation. The contracting office will make the entire solicitation available only on SAM.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Potential quoters are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure the release of this document and subsequent amendments. For contract award eligibility, offerors must be registered and marked active in the System for Award Management (SAM). If necessary, register via the SAM website www.sam.gov. Registration may take up to three weeks to process. All responsible sources may submit a quote that this Agency shall consider. Interested contractors are encouraged to click the "Follow" icon at the top of the posting notice to receive updates concerning the solicitation. The contracting office will make no Interested Vendor list available to contractors.
