This is not a request for a proposal. The intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to notify potential offerors of a Base plus 4 option year, Performance-Based contract for Vocera Wireless Communication and Licensing for VA San Diego Healthcare System, and Associated Community Based Out Lying Clinics, California. The Contractor shall provide non-personal services, to include all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to utilize and expand Vocera Communications Solution to include deploy Vocera Voice and Messaging on V5000 Smart badges, Vocera Integration, deploy individual nursing units/ancillary departments and integrate third-party systems for the purpose of secondary alarm and event notification delivery to Vocera for the facilities In Accordance With (IAW) the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Work shall comply with government and commercial standards. All work performed by the contractor shall be performed in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, Veterans Administration standards, instructions, and commercial practices. The Veteran Administration intends to issue a Multiple Award Schedule solicitation between 3 November 2023, and 15 November 2023, to schedule contractors who are authorized Vocera providers under the solicitation number 36C26224Q0129. The solicitation will result in a firm-fixed priced contract with a five (5) year ordering period 01/01/2024 to 30 September 2028. This requirement is being solicited as a Service-Disabled small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 334229, Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing, applies to this acquisition. The size standard is $47 million. The contract award will be made based on under Best Value FAR 8.404(d). All instructions for submitting quotes will be provided in the solicitation. The entire solicitation will be made available only to schedule contractors who are authorized Vocera providers. Paper copies will not be available. Potential quoters are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of this document and subsequent amendments. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered and marked active in the System for Award Management (SAM). If necessary, register via the SAM website www.sam.gov. Registration may take up to three weeks to process. All responsible sources may submit a quote that shall be considered by this Agency.
