SCOPE: The VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, 11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CAÂ 90073-1003 is seeking a contractor for 15 Tiny Homes to meet its requirement for additional housing to assist veterans in need of housing . The prospective contractor must Salient characteristics listed below in accordance with FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal Pallet PBC (Pallet). Installation: Is not requested at this time. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS: Equipment must have the salient characteristics to enable the government to perform the capabilities: Standard Structure 64 square foot (5.95 m2) shelter 120V Electrical kit w/1500w Heater Air Conditioner and Install Kit-Shelter 64 Folding Bunk Bed Mattresses fitted pad Locking door and windows Smoke detector Carbon monoxide detector Fire extinguisher Emergency egress opening Water diversion with integrated rain gutter All materials of construction are non-organic, reducing mold, mildew, and bedbugs Ceiling-mounted interior lighting Cold weather package with increased insulation 10+ year material lifespan Resistant to mold, mildew, rot, and pests 110 mph wind rating 25 lb. per square foot snow load rating Structural floor for assembly on any level surface Durable aluminum framing, insulated FRP walls Slip-resistant floor Assembly of 1 CTRS Tiny Home Delivery Charge included FUNCTIONAL AND PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS: Equipment must provide functional and performance capability as listed above in section in above. TRAINING: No training is needed on this equipment. WARRANTY OF EQUIPMENT: Government requirement for standard manufacturer industry warranty term.
