The purpose of this amendment is to clarify that the response date is May 26, 2023 @ 3:30 pm PST and to answer the following questions (Red type): Will the VA remove and replace the spline ceiling tile, or is the contractor responsible for this? The VA will assist with the removal and replacement back of the spline ceiling. Is TAB required? (none mentioned in RFP) TAB will be required to ensure correct CFM is achieved. RFP, Page 4 of 43, Price Schedule, CLIN 0002 asks for Emergency Services Over and Above Repair or Unseen Requirements . Is this an allowance, and if so, will the VA provide the amount to be entered for this CLIN? This is a zero-dollar price line item that can later be negotiated. The government uses it in case of any unforeseen issues that may arise outside the scope of work. Will the VA provide the number of days this offer must remain valid from the date of bid submittal? The government intends to award the requirement as soon as it receives a fair and reasonable quote (You can put 30 days if needed). Will the VA disclose the General Order of Magnitude for this solicitation? This is a Services, not a construction contract. General Order of Magnitude not required. SF 1449, Block 10 indicates this is an Unrestricted Acquisition . Will the VA confirm this acquisition is unrestricted and not a SDVOSB set-aside? This is an unrestricted full and open solicitation. The original solicitation did not result in any fair and reasonable quotes. SF 1449, Block 8 indicates this offer is due on May 22, 2023, at 7:00. Will that be a.m. or p.m.? That is a typo. In the Instructions to Offerors, the response date and time is correctly stated and is being corrected. RFQ, Page 22 of 43, indicates this offer is due on 05/26/23 at 3:30 p.m. PDT. SF 1449, Block 8 indicates this offer is due on May 22, 2023, at 7:00. Will the VA clarify when this offer is due? This response date has been clarified above. Will the VA clarify if any Hazardous Materials will be encountered or disturbed during this work? There are no known hazardous materials that will be encountered during the work. Does the VA have a current HAZMAT Survey for the areas involved with this work? See attached report. Will an existing and after-install Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing be required for this project? Testing, adjusting, and balancing is a requirement after the installation.
