This is not a request for a proposal. The intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to notify potential offerors of a Base plus 4 option year, Performance-Based contract Annual Medical Gas Distribution System Inspection for VA San Diego Healthcare System. The Contractor shall conduct an annual inspection of VA San Diego s Medical Gas System In Accordance With (IAW) the Performance Work Statement (PWS). In addition Contractor will repair equipment found to be faulty. Work shall comply with government and commercial standards. All work performed by the contractor shall be performed in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, Veterans Administration standards, instructions, and commercial practices. The Veteran Administration intends to issue a formal solicitation on or about 05 June 2023 via SAM.gov (https://sam.gov/) under the solicitation number 36C26223Q1034. The solicitation will result in a firm-fixed priced contract with a five (5) year ordering period 3 July 2023 to 30 September 2027. This requirement is being solicited as a Service-Disabled small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541990, All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services, applies to this acquisition. The size standard is $19.5 million. The contract award will be made based on under Best Value trade Off (FAR 15.101-1). All instructions for submitting quotes will be provided in the solicitation. The entire solicitation will be made available only on SAM.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Potential quoters are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of this document and subsequent amendments. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered and marked active in the System for Award Management (SAM). If necessary, register via the SAM website www.sam.gov. Registration may take up to three weeks to process. All responsible sources may submit a quote that shall be considered by this Agency.
