SOURCES SOUGHT DESCRIPTION This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is a source sought/RFI for market research only. The purpose of this source sought/RFI is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 339940 (size standard is 750 Employees). Responses to this source sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this source sought, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this source sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 22 Network Contracting Office, is seeking sources that can provide Dell Monitors (Model: PN2419H) or Philips Monitor (Model: PN241B8QJEB) OR EQUAL TO that at a minimum meets the following salient characteristics in the Statement of Work/ Minimum Technical Requirements for the Department of Veterans Affairs Greater Los Angeles Veterans Health Care System. Vendor Requirements: Period of Performance is 60 days after award. Vendor shall quote all items under this requirement. Vendor shall meet the Salient Characteristics in the Statement of Work (SOW). Vendor shall respond questions 1 through 8 of the Request of Information (RFI), see below. STATEMENT OF WORK GENERAL SCOPE The Veteran Health Administration (VHA) has a requirement for Dell Monitors (Model: PN2419H) or Philips Monitors (Model: PN241B8QJEB) OR EQUAL TO for the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS). PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS To be considered for award the Computer Monitors must be brand name to DELL MODEL PN P2419H or PHILIPS MODEL PN241B8QJEB OR EQUAL TO and must meet the salient characteristics. Duty hours will be 8:00am-16:00pm. The Government recognized US holidays are: New Year s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. If the holiday falls on Sunday, it is observed on Monday. The Government maintains the option to modify the normal work week, days, and hours, as necessary for the accomplishment of VHA mission. The VA POC will be identified on award. Please coordinate delivery with VA POC. SALIENT CHARACTERISITCS/ GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS Dell Monitors (Model: PN P2419H)/ Philips Monitors (Model: PN241B8QJEB) OR EQUAL TO Monitor must be 23 min 24 max LED The monitor shall have Anti-Glare to allow use near windows Full High-Definition (FHD) 1920 x 1080 resolution (+/-200) The monitor shall have a minimum Aspect Ratio: 16:09; maximum 21:9 The monitor shall have a minimum Pixel Pitch: 0.2745mm x 0.2745; maximum 3,840 x 2,160 pixels The monitor must be Standard Black or similar Ports and Slots: The monitor must have standard Power Cord Connector The monitor must have 1 HDMI Port The monitor must have 1 Display Port Must meet the following regulatory and environmental standards: Must be Energy Star Must have the Electronic Product Environment Assessment Tool (EPEAT) Must be Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) compliant Must be Brominated Flame Retardant/Polyvinyl Chloride (BFR/PVC) free Must Come assembled Vendors must provide PDF catalogs of the Monitors Vendor must provide complete manufacturer s product specifications Vendor must provide product literature The monitor shall include an adjustable stand that pivots and swivels with height adjustment The monitor s drivers must be pre-loaded in windows for full function from onset. 4. QUANTITIES The quantities of each item are listed as noted below. Awarded vendor shall include purchase order number on all shipping labels to include contents. GENERAL All finished surfaces shall be free of scratches, mars, dents, or blemishes Furnishings shall have smooth finishes with no hazardous projections, sharp corners, or detail, which can be hazardous and cause personal injury or damage to clothing. 6. DELIVERY Vendor shall deliver all furniture to the SAVAHCS VA, Tucson Address: SAVAHCS 3601 S. 6th Ave Tucson AZ. 85723 Items will be Drop Ship only, no installation required. All furniture shall be tagged with the contract number and purchase order (PO) number. 7. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE Period of performance will be 60 days from contract award. 8. WARRANTY Contractor shall provide a minimum 2-year limited warranty as designed by the manufacturer.
