VHA GLA Engineering Division is responsible to accommodate the Cerner Training program on the West Los Angeles Medical Center (WLA), Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center (SACC) & the Los Angeles Ambulatory Care Center (LAACC) campus sites for the Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) efforts. The available spaces require a design build renovation to facilitate: Cerner Training room conditions Presentation room configuration Workstation layout Office/Admin layout Conference room layout The rooms listed under the project scope & requirements will be unavailable during the construction period of performance as well as the duration of the Cerner training schedule. Once Cerner training is completed, the modernized training room is at the full disposal of the WLA, SACC & LAACC users and will be equipped with industry standard hardware for future presentation & seminar functions. The subject contract was awarded using SDVOSB sole source authority under 41 USC §3304(a)(5), 38 U.S. Code § 8127(c), as implemented by FAR 6.302-5 (Authorized or Required by Statute). Non-competitive procedures authorized in VAAR 819.7008 were utilized.
