This document serves as notification of an upcoming solicitation. The VA Northern Arizona Health Care System, VA Bob Stump Medical Center, located at 500 Hwy 89 N, Prescott AZ 86313 has a requirement to replace the current service entrance switchgear for Building 107, relocate it to allow for future expansion in the B courtyard and address security issues. Work will be performed in a functioning hospital environment. Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, training, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to accomplish the work. The work includes, but is not limited to general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, necessary demolition and removal of existing structures and certain other items necessary for completion. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications, and drawings (when available) of the solicitation and all applicable local and VA building codes. This project will be procured as 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and must be listed as verified in the Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) database at Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) used for this requirement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a Size Standard of $45.0M. The magnitude of this construction project is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. The VA will issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) on or about May 17, 2023 via Contract Opportunities at https://beta.sam.gov/. A site visit will be scheduled, and the date/time/location will be provided in the solicitation.
