This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services/items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 in conjunction with FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 1.A. Project Title: Howard Medical Carts 1.B. Project Location: New Mexico Veterans Affairs Health Care System, 1501 San Pedro Dr SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108-5153 1.C. Solicitation Type - Number: Request for Quotes (RFQ) - 36C26222Q1435. 1.D. Set Aside: This solicitation is set aside for Small Businesses 1.E. Applicable NAICS code: 334111, Electronic Computer Manufacturing 1.F. Small Business Size Standard: 1250 Employees 1.G. Type of Contract: Firm Fixed Price 1.H. Period of Performance: Delivery required within 60 days. The computers must be shipped to NMVAHC four weeks prior to carts arriving due to installing of VA image per OI&T 2. Submit written offers in accordance with the following instructions, as well as Addendum to FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors. Oral offers will not be accepted. Complete and submit the enclosed Form 1449 via email no later than 10am Monday August 15, 2022 to peter.kim33@va.gov. Ensure the following are completed and/or included in the offer packet: 2.A. Vendor Information 2.B. Acknowledgement of amendments 2.C. Concurrence/non-concurrence with solicitation terms, conditions, and provisions 2.D. Schedule of services with projected ship date 2.E. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items 3. Scope: New Mexico Veterans Affairs Health Care System (NMVAHCS) requires (6) Howard HI-Care E Plus mobile Workstation On Wheels Medical Carts. The mobile carts must be compatible with the current existing fleet of Howard Medical Carts as per Medical Center Policy and the Bar Code Medication Administration [BCMA] coordinator. As such, the mobile carts must have signature pad for patient consent documentation and a bar code scanner for tracking medication administration. The mobile carts must also include a computer to be compatible for the upcoming installation of Cerner EHRM. The computers will be part of the purchase and the internal Office of Informational & Technology will be responsible to image computer to be compliant with OI&T regulations. 3.A.
