Answer: There are no documents of installation, no information available on the thickness of the steel, and no record of as-builts on file. What is the actual depth of the existing pit? Answer: The measured depth from the bottom to the top of the tank is 8 feet. Is the bottom of the existing pit steel or earth? Answer: There is no record of what the bottom of the tank is made of. What is the current thickness of the steel at the bottom of the pit? We would need to know this to determine the ability to securely install the new sump pumps.
