The purpose of this sources-sought/RFI is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 339920 (size standard of 750 Employees). Responses to this sources-sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources-sought, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this sources-sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 22 Network Contracting Office, is seeking Brand name or equal and compatible GE HealthCare eBike for Stress Echocardiograms that meets the following salient characteristics for the Loma Linda VA Healthcare System: SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS/TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT GE HealthCare eBike for Stress Echocardiograms in Cardiology service The Long Beach VHA requires a GE HealthCare eBike for Stress Echocardiograms in Cardiology Service. This eBike is to provide a stable exercise platform ensuring patient safety and comfort during Echo Stress testing; it must be ergonomically designed to fit all cardiac patients. VHALB requires that it: Provides stable and comfortable patient positioning for stress-echo procedure Provides a stress-testing mechanism for patients with limited mobility or who have trouble walking. Must feature a stable exercise platform that helps reduce upper body motion for less muscle artifact. Offers reduced system noise which provides less interference with manual blood pressure acquisition Provides defined workload at end of all test protocols. Supports both standard and customizable exercise protocols. Must enable ultrasound image acquisition without moving patient from exercise platform. Patient can transition to recovery phase directly on exercise platform. Require side drop-out for full access to the imaging region. Must provide electronic vertical and horizontal rotation adjustability that supports proper positioning of the heart for the echo portion of the procedure. Must operate on either 110 or 220V and 50-60 Hz. Must have fully motor driven controls for tilt from a flat position to a 45-degree angle. Must have fully cushioned head support. Must have preset protocols and user entry protocol options. Must offer Interface to current ECG Stress System.
