Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. SOURCES-SOUGHT DESCRIPTION This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is a sources-sought/RFI only. The purpose of this sources-sought/RFI is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 339131 (size standard of 750 Employees). Responses to this sources-sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources-sought, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this sources-sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement. Qualifications shall include annotation if company is manufacturer or authorize distributor. Authorized distributors shall include verifiable statements from the manufacturer of status as a distributor and the ability to complete any work required to honor warranty work. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 22 Network Contracting Office, is seeking ENDOPRO CAM Starter kit that meets the following salient characteristics for the San Diego VA Healthcare System: SALIENT CHARACTERISTIC FOR THE PATIENT CONTROLLED ENDOPRO CAM The VA San Diego has a requirement for the following equipment: Six (6) units of the EndoPro Cam Starter Kit brand name or equal to a portable endoscopic video system. Salient Characteristics: The units must be portable, safe, reliable for use for endoscope from Karl Storz, Olympus, Pentax. The units must have a video system that provides 1080p high resolution HD imaging on a 4.3 inch LCD monitor in order to see any damage to the endoscopes. The units must be able to provide light-weight and ergonomically able to accommodate the employees without harming them. The units allow the user to view the card through their rigid scope to observe a standard test pattern to evaluate the resolution and color bars to check for dark spots. The units must come with standard items as follow: EPRO-001; includes Li-ion battery power bank, Micro SD card and Mini HDMI cable), and a starter kit (EPRO-001SK; includes Li-ion battery power bank, Micro SD card, Mini HDMI cable, 28mm optical coupler, stand, 10-watt light source with charger and 2 batteries. Period of Performance 60 Days After Receipt of Order Delivery The vendor must coordinate with the VA Point of Contact to schedule the delivery. The vendor must clearly tag the shipping box with the contract number and Purchase Order (PO) number. The vendor must include equipment manuals with delivery Warranty The units shall come with a minimum 15-month warranty covering labor and parts of manufacturing defects.
