Please see the answers to the questions submitted below. Please advise the desired mix of 15-passenger and 8-passenger shuttles. Two (2) ADA capable and four (4) 8 passenger shuttle The PWS states that the contractor is to provide "electric 15 and 8 passenger ADA compliant shuttles." - The scope mentions "6 ADA compliant electric utility vehicles (Golf Carts). We are unaware of a 15 pax golf cart and want to make sure we are able to source these vehicles in time for the contract award. Please clarify vehicle type and provide examples if possible. We work with a vendor for specialty Low-Speed electric ADA vehicles of this size, but their current lead time is 250+ days. To my knowledge, the restrictions listed above will not limit the acquisition to an item peculiar to one manufacture. What make/model of carts are currently being used? We currently do have any carts. Are other size shuttles acceptable; say, six (6) 11-passenger shuttles? Yes. Will gasoline fueled shuttles be acceptable? Yes, electric preferred. How many of the shuttles need to be equipped with wheelchair ramps and tie-downs? 2. Can you provide secure overnight parking for the shuttles? Yes. Can you provide power for charging the shuttles? Yes. Will the contract possibly be extended? If so, for how long? Yes, TBD. Please confirm that service is only within the campus and not on any public streets. VA campus only. When do you anticipate awarding the contract? 4/18/2022 – 5/1/2022 Is there a place to store, charge, clean and maintain the vehicles on campus? Yes. In section B.2 price/cost schedule, does the unit refer to one month? So, the quantity would be six months? Yes. Is there a place to submit questions on this solicitation?
