Q: We can add a line item for the Pertechnetate. The problem is you are asking for 7 Curries. Normally the need is for mCi (millicurie). The hospital usually orders doses in mCi doses. Can you clarify? A: 7 Curies is for the quantity of 99m-Pertechnetate needed for the entire year. About 250mCi 300mCi (millicurie) of 99m-TcO4 (Pertechnetate) is utilized each quarter for QC, 40-50mCi several times per week for clinical exams and so on, all these add up to 7 curies per year. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
