The Government intend to post a solicitation to for an one-time demolition project TITLE Demo Bldg. 52 (605-22-F403) BACKGROUND INFORMATION Building 52 has reached the end of its useful life to Loma Linda Veteran Affairs Healthcare Services (LLVAHCS) Hospital. OBJECTIVES: Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, qualified supervision, engineering and services to : Demolish and properly dispose of Building 52 (modular building set on slab) after safely disconnecting and isolating any utility connections to the building, to include water supply, communications, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing connections to point of connection. Each termination needs to be made leaving no visible protrusions or hazards. Any wall penetrations made as a result of terminating utilities located on the main facility Building 1 or any portions thereof must be sealed and not visible upon completion. Remove and Clean any debris from site, to include pressure washing remaining hard surfaces upon removal of building. Level landscape under Bldg. 52 to surrounding sidewalks/hardscape and DG material. Safety fencing shall be erected around the demolition site with appropriate safety signage and markings. Fencing must still allow emergency egress from main building and not intrude upon patient access from South or West parking areas and shall not hinder patient traffic to the West Entrance of the hospital.
