The purpose of this amendment is to address the following: The manufactures part number is being corrected to reflect 5140162 To extend the close date of this solicitation to 11/26/2021 at 4:00PM PST. To provide answers to the following questions: Question: Do you guys have a forklift at the delivery location? Answer: Yes. The receiving warehouse is equipped with a forklift. Question: Also I see in this contract it states that Vendor Shall be an OEM, authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed medical supplies, medical equipment, and/or services contracts for maintenance equipment of medical equipment, verified by an authorization letter Does this apply for this contract because this is not medical equipment? Answer: Yes. This section of the solicitation does apply to this acquisition a letter of authorization would be required from the manufacturer to the supplier and from the supplier to the awardee of this contract if not purchased directly form the manufacture by the vendor. Question: The Dannmar Tire Changer and Wheel Balancer are made in China per their website/technical specs.  I have not checked the Bendpak model yet to see where that is Made. Can we propose MADE IN THE USA models since this is a Federal Government procurement? Answer: The Trade Agreement Act does not apply to this acquisition. A vendor can propose any brand name as long as it is equivalent to the item requested in the solicitation and meets all the salient characteristics listed in attachment B. Question: Is installation required for either of the line items? Answer: No, the installation will be performed by the requesting facility. Question: Are you folks aware that the equipment that is specified is made in China? Answer: Please refer to the answer provided to question C.
