This is a pre-solicitation notice only. The purpose of this pre-solicitation notice is to announce that the VA San Diego Healthcare System has an impending requirement for Shuttle Services to and from an off-site parking lot. The resulting contract will be for a base period of performance and option periods. Contract will begin on November 2, 2020. All Offerors who provide goods or services to the United States Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database found at https://www.sam.gov at the time of proposal submission and at the time of award. Additionally, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses who respond to a solicitation must be registered and verified in the Vet-Biz Registry located at http://vip.vetbiz.gov at the time of proposal submission and the time of award. The contract shall be issued as a Firm-Fixed Price contract paid Monthly in arrears. All requirements shall be detailed in the impending solicitation to be issued on or about October 14, 2020. No questions will be considered prior to the release of the solicitation. The following information pertaining to the required work is provided below for planning purposes: 1. The NAICS for this requirement is 485999, All Other Transit and Ground Passenger Transportation. The product service code is V999, Transportation/Travel/Relocation Other: Other. 2. Required Services. Due to upcoming major construction projects on the campus of the VA San Diego medical center, the Government has contracted off-site parking within close proximity of the medical center located at 3350 La Jolla Village Drive, San Diego, CA 92161. The Government requires passenger shuttle services to and from the off-site parking lot. The exact site of the offsite lot shall be identified when the solicitation is released. Services shall include the following: (a) CDL drivers with passenger endorsements. (b) Eight (8) large capacity busses and two (2) medium capacity buses capable of transporting passengers to and from a designated offsite parking location to the medical center from midnight (12:00 AM) Monday through midnight (12:00 AM) Friday. --End of Pre-Solicitation Notice--
