The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of businesses, including Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), interested and capable of providing Dead Tree Removal, Irrigation Installation, and Grass Seeding Services per paragraph (2), the general requirements listed below, for the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System located at 11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90073. General Requirements: The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS). has a requirement for: Dead Tree removal, Solar Panel Landscaping Grass Seeding Services for VA Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center, 16111 Plummer St. North Hills, CA 91343: Install (20) Tons of Pewter grey 3/4 - 1 1/2 crush rock in Solar Fields sink holes and Interior fence line. Prep a 4,500 S.F. area to kill weeds, turn soil and supply and install (4) yards of topper and 50 lbs. of Fescue Turf Seed blend. Remove (16) dead trees as outlined below in six locations on the facility of various sizes and conditions. Five (5) trees located around the Solar Panel Field. Five (5) trees located at Bldg. 52, Baseball Field. Two (2) trees at Golf Course. One (1) tree located at Bldg. 10 One (1) tree located at Bldg. 7. Two (2) trees located at Bldg. 200. Irrigation Installation at North and West side of Bldg. 99 for VA Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center, 16111 Plummer St. North Hills, CA 91343: Install (140) Hunter R5000 s Trench 400 L.F 12 deep Install 400 L.F. 3/4 PVC Class 200 Pipe Install (1) 12 station Rainbird ESP LX Irrigation Timer Install (6) 2 Hunter ICV irrigation valves with all fittings and parts Install 185 L.F. of Multi strand cables Irrigation Installation at Bldg. 62, Bldg. 64, and Bldgs. 71-82 for VA Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center, 16111 Plummer St. North Hills, CA 91343: a) Trench 1,325 Lineal feet up to 10 deep. Install 1325 Lineal feet of 3/4 PVC Pipe. b) Install (12) 4 Rainbird Popup sprinklers with nozzles. Install (4) 2 Rainbird Irrigation valves. c) Install (45) Hunter Rotor Sprinklers. d) Run 450 Lineal feet of electrical irrigation wire back to main Controller for the newly installed valves. Job Site Walk-Through: The jobsite Walk-through will take place on March 5th, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center, 16111 Plummer St., North Hills, CA. 91343. Contractors will meet at Parking lot A at Plummer St entrance for the walk thru. The jobsite walk-through is not required but highly encouraged. This notice does not represent a commitment by the Government to pay for costs incurred in the preparation and submission of information or any other costs incurred as a response to this announcement.
