The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (hubzone, 8(a), small business, small disadvantage business, Veteran owned small business (VOSB), Service disabled Veteran owned small business (SDVOSB), or large business) relative to NAICS 561730 with a size standard of $7.5M. Note that if VA s pending market research establishes that two or more VOSB or SDVOSB, who are certified and verified in VA s Vendor Information Pages (VIP) site https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/, can perform the service, VA will set aside the underlying solicitation per 38 U.S.C. §8127. Responses to this synopsis shall be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published on FBO and/or GSA eBuy. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors must respond to the solicitation announcement separately from responding to this sources sought announcement. General Requirements: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network 22 Contracting Office is seeking sources that can provide Tree Trimming Services for VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS) located at 11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90073. Contractor shall provide tree trimming/pruning, dead/diseased tree removal as required and shrub brush removal at VAGLAHS. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to accomplish tree trimming and including the dumpsters for the removal and disposal of waste and debris. The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, tools, equipment and materials to perform the tree trimming services. The Prime Contractor must have a C27 Landscaping License and be a licensed contractor for the State of California to perform the work required. Contractor shall comply with the Federal and local regulations. The intended contract period shall be for one year, dates to be determined by the Contracting Officer.
