NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, SAO West - Network Contracting Office (NCO) 22, for the VA Long Beach Healthcare System (VALBHS), intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Government Marketing & Procurement, LLC (GMP), a requirement for Service Workflow Implementation and Training Services to Clinical Communication System for VA Long Beach Healthcare System (VALBHS). This service includes Design Services, Workflow, and Implementation to upgrade the current Vocera system for Lab and Radiology STAT orders. Implementation will involve configuration of Vocera Engage middleware. This package is for adding a feature to the current Vocera clinical communication system. Vocera is integrated with CPRS and allows for notifications to be sent to clinical users via a communication badge. The new feature will allow for stat orders to be added to the type of notifications going out to users. The North American Industry Classification System Code NAICS code: 541512 with a size standard of $25M. GMP is classified as a small business under that NAICS. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet the specifications above may give written notification to the point of contact no later than 3:00 P.M., (PST) on Monday, May 15th, 2020. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
