PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Disclaimer: this document serves as notification of an upcoming solicitation and does not constitute a solicitation. The VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS), located at 11301 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90073, has a requirement for: New Flooring, Carpet Installation and Painting Services for the 2nd Floor, East Wing Offices of the VAGLAHS. As such, the intended work will be performed in a functioning hospital environment. The work includes, but is not limited to the removal and disposal of the existing carpet and the purchase, delivery and installation of new flooring materials; contractor shall also paint all the walls, doors and door/window frames of all the areas receiving new flooring; install new window shades; replace existing ceiling tiles with new tiles and add sink with counter in break room. Electrical work is limited to relocating or adding GFCI power outlet at new counter. The successful contractor awarded this project shall provide all materials, labor, supervision, coordination, transportation, delivery/shipping, supplies and tools necessary for proper removal, delivery and installation of new materials, even though certain items may not be specifically described in the specification. Contractor s quotation price must be all inclusive. Quotes must include carpet specifications to meet the requirement as described in the forthcoming SOW. This project will be procured as 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and must be listed as Verified in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database at https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) used for this requirement is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a Size Standard of $39.5M. The magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The VA will issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) on or about March 9th, 2020 via https://beta.sam.gov/. A site visit will be scheduled, and the date/time/location of the site visit will be provided in the solicitation document.
