The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research purposes; to make the appropriate acquisition decisions; and to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their Small Business Administration (SBA) size classification in relation to North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 339113 Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 22 is seeking sources to provide the following professional services at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System: Gurney Preventive Maintenance The Contractor shall provide all parts, labor, maintenance and technical expertise. Gurney Inventory as follows: Model Number: Model Description Quantity 1015 M Series w/ Big Wheel 3 1125 Prime Zoom 86 1089 Eye Surgery Stretcher 10 5050 Stretcher Chair 1 Major Duties and tasks include, but are not limited to: The service shall include all parts, labor and travel. One (1) annual Preventive Maintenance (PM) inspection for each gurney, and unscheduled service & JCAHO equipment checklists. The replacement parts not to be included are mattresses, batteries, and other disposable of expendable parts. The serial number and complete inventory are included in the attachment GURNEY PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE - INVENTORY . Service inspections will be scheduled in advance at a mutually agreed upon time for such period as is reasonably necessary to complete the Services. Equipment not made available at the specified time will be serviced at the next scheduled service inspection unless specific arrangements are made with Contractor. Such arrangements will include travel and other special charges at contractor s then current rates. Gurney Preventive Maintenance duties include, but are not limited to: On each scheduled service inspection, Contractor s Service Representative will inspect each available item of Equipment as required in accordance with Manufacturers then current Maintenance procedures for said equipment. Contractor shall be readily available and on site at least one day a week, and 48-hour response time is a requirement for the repair of gurneys at this facility. The service Quote shall be on an annual service charge and have two more option years included. For a total of three years of service. Firms shall provide the following information on current and/or previous contracts in which you have provided this service.
