THE TUCSON VA HEALTH CARE SYSTEM SEEKS POD ASSEMBLY TRAY SYSTEMS SCOPE: Tucson VA Healthcare System is looking for ideas on how to maximize their tray assembly operation through a pod style system, while utilizing the current meal delivery carts and tray system. Recommendations are needed to make this process more efficient, while taking into account space, number of plates/ trays assembled per meal, staffing among other factors. Contractors will be invited to do a walkthrough of the space and submit recommendations for solutions to VA needs after the event. 2. OPPORTUNITY SHOWCASE: The Opportunity Showcase will be held on January 7, 2020 beginning at 10 am (AZT) and ending at 1 pm (AZT) at the Tucson VA Hospital located at 3601 S. 6th Avenue, Building 3. Vendors must check in with Frances Sanchez in Building T5A to get a temporary ID Badge prior to attending event. Vendors may not ship any items related to this event to the facility. Potential vendors to provide recommendations regarding this requirement to April Walters at April.Walters2@va.gov after the event.
