This solicitation is for a Single Award Open Market BPA, for the delivery fresh food products to the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS) between 12/01/2019 and 11/30/2020 plus 4 12-month option years. This solicitation is competed as a Small Business Set-Aside. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 1200 NOON ON WEDNESDAY, 11/20/2019 TO GIVE THE CONTRACTING SPECIALIST TIME TO AMEND THE SOLICITATION WITH CHANGES AND/OR ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS. IF SIGNIFCANT CHANGES ARE MADE TO THE SOLICITATION THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO EXTEND THE SOLICITATION TO ALLOW TIME FOR OFFERS TO BE RECEIVED. Any contractor in the competitive range may be required to submit a sample product for the Chief Nutritionist at the VA Greater Los Angeles to evaluate. The exact product will be selected by the Chief Nutritionist. Contractors not in the competitive range will not be asked to provide a sample. This is a FOB Destination acquisition.
