PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Disclaimer: this document serves as notification of an upcoming solicitation and does not constitute a solicitation. The VA Loma Linda Healthcare System (VALLHS) located at 11201 Benton St., Loma Linda, CA 92357, has a requirement to apply Stonhard Epoxy to the Logistics hallway floors. The Logistics Hallway floors are badly damaged and needs a floor coating durable enough to withstand high pedestrian traffic as well as goods, supplies, and merchandise that enters the hospital through the Logistics area. As such, the intended work will be performed in a functioning hospital environment. The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, training, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to accomplish the work. The work includes, but is not limited to, general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, necessary demolition and removal of existing structures and certain other items necessary for completion. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawings (when available) of the solicitation and all applicable local and VA building codes. This project will be procured as 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and must be listed as Verified in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database at https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) used for this requirement is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a Size Standard of $39.5M. The magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The VA will issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) on or about November 25th, 2019 via https://www.fbo.gov/. A site visit will be scheduled, and the date/time/location of the site visit will be provided in the solicitation document.
