The VA intends to award a single firm-fixed-price Design-Build contract to eliminate trip hazards facility-wide at the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System in Reno, Nevada. The selected firm will handle both design and construction, including schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction period services, with multiple required disciplines and a licensed/registered prime firm. The requirement will be evaluated under the Veterans First Contracting Program, with potential SDVOSB or VOSB set-aside based on responses and fair/reasonable pricing.
