Sole Source under FAR Part 8

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to sole-source a firm-fixed-price contract to Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. for repair of a Siemens Luminos Agile Max XR3 system, including KermaX components, spare parts, a front panel kit, labor, travel, and shipping. Performance is with the Palo Alto VA Health Care System. The contract is estimated for final completion by 5/16/2027. Interested responsible sources may submit a quote and capability documentation; non-OEMs must provide an OEM-authorized distributor letter, and non-OEM small businesses must explain compliance with subcontracting and/or non-manufacturer rules. If no responses are received, the Government will continue with its sole-source procurement and publish a sole-source RFQ.
