The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit courier services supporting Sterile Processing Services at the VA Northern California Health Care System (HSA 5.2). The contractor will transport contaminated medical instruments and equipment from sites within VANCHCS to designated Sterile Processing Service locations for reprocessing. The period of performance is a base year plus four one-year options, with an anticipated start on or near June 1, 2027. This acquisition will be set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, and quoters must be registered and verified in SBA and registered in SAM to be eligible for award. The VA anticipates issuing the RFQ on or about November 2, 2026, and interested contractors must download the solicitation and amendments from SAM.gov, as no hard copies will be provided.
