The VA Northern California Health Care System seeks a contractor to replace approximately 38,000 SF of carpet and luxury vinyl tile, resilient wall base, stainless steel corner guards, and paint, including drywall repairs up to 20%, throughout the 2nd and 3rd floors of Building 650 at the Sacramento VA Medical Center, 10535 Hospital Way, Mather, CA 95655. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and professional services, dispose of demolished materials and trash, follow VA infection-control and records-management requirements, and coordinate phasing and room assignments with the COR. Work must generally occur outside normal hours (7:30 AM–4:00 PM, Monday–Friday, excluding weekends and holidays) unless approved by the Contracting Officer; noisy or patient-impacting work must be after hours or weekends, and planned work notifications are required at least three weeks in advance. The project must be completed within 240 calendar days from notice to proceed, with no more than five rooms assigned at a time during weekday work and additional rooms released only after satisfactory completion and inspection. Site visits are by appointment only with the Contracting Officer, and a pre-proposal site visit is strongly encouraged and must be coordinated with the COR.
