This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and commercial services is provided to advise that the Government has a requirement for a syringe?based fluid delivery system for the specific purpose of injecting intravenous magnetic resonance (MR) contrast media and saline into the human vascular system for diagnostic studies in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) applications. Having a functioning contrast injector will allow the service’s throughput, decrease wait times and allow patients to have their diagnosis timely. This acquisition is for the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System at 3801 Miranda Avenue Palo Alto, CA 94304-1207. This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), requiring publication of the proposed contract action.
