Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21) hereby gives notice of the Governments intent to negotiate a sole source, Firm-Fixed-Priced Purchase Order with only one source, Pure Processing, LLC. The procurement is for VA Palo Alto Health Care System requesting to procure a custom PureSteel reprocessing sink and ergonomic table for the Office of Sterile Processing. This sink is from Pure Processing Healthcare and is precisely engineered for optimal ergonomic use, instrument protection, and complaint and effective pre-cleaning. Features include Push button lifter to adjust work height and enable easy maintenance. The PureSteel Signature Series Ergonomic Workstations are designed to enhance the Packaging and inspection or surgical trays and instruments through thoughtful, quality innovations. This action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) and 41 USC §1901, only one will meet the Government s needs. Only one source is capable of responding due to the unique or specialized nature of the supplies and/or services. It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the only provider of the custom PureSteel reprocessing sink and ergonomic table that can meet the agency s needs. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339113 (Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing) and the Product Service Code (PSC) is 6515 (Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies). This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Telephone request will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can provide the custom PureSteel reprocessing sink and ergonomic table may give written notice to Janetra.Johnson@va.gov by 12:00 AM Pacific Time on March 25th, 2025. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. THIS DOES NOT COMMIT THE GOVERNMENT TO CONTRACT FOR ANY SUPPLY OR SERVICE. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PAY FOR ANY INFORMATION OR ADMINISTRATIVE COST INCURRED IN RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS.
