The Public Health National Program Office (PHNPO) and Emergency Pharmacy Service (Pharmacy Benefits Management) require an integrated Inventory Management System (IMS) to conduct end-to-end tracking, viewing, accountability and analysis of inventory in and related to the PHNPO/EPS All-Hazards Emergency Cache (AHEC) Program facility sites and warehouse(s). The VA Palo Alto Healthcare System on behalf of all the pharmacies within the VA, Veterans Health Administration (VHA) has a requirement for an inventory management system to assure optimal operations, up-to-date visibility, and pandemic- and climate-readiness of the AHEC program.
