As part of its Market Research, NCO 21 is issuing this RFI to determine if there exists an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of providing services as further described in the drafted statement of work. The Government may use the responses to this RFI for information and planning purposes. The drafted statement of work (SOW) describes only the currently contemplated possible scope of work and may vary from the work scope in a final SOW included in any Request for Quote (RFQ). The contractor will be providing medical equipment and service for the VA Fresno Medical Center, 10535 Hospital Way, Fresno CA 93703. There is no solicitation document as this time. The NAICS is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with Small Business size of $34.0M. NOTE: Please ensure that System For Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov) indicates this NAICS code if you are interested in the requirement. Statement of Work Replacement of MRI UPS batteries capacitors and fan module 1. MRI UPS; asset ID 559225VAMR450UPS serial number P0150-3618-B802S GE Digital Energy UPS 150 KVA 2. Removal of spent batteries (40) and replacement with new batteries 3. Removal of spent capacitors and fans and replacement with new capacitors and fans 4. This work to be completed by OEM certified supporting technicians. 5. Batteries are a non-covered consumable part of the existing service agreement. 6. Batteries have a date code of 06/2018 and are 6 years old. UPS batteries that are used in standard imaging applications usually reach EOL in about 4-5 years. 7. Price includes: labor for removal of spent batteries- Labor to install new batteries provided with this quote. 8. Customer to receive Battery Chain of Custody of EPA approved disposal. 9. Capacitors and fans are covered under the existing VA service agreement. Parts include NFPA 70E and OSHA compliant equipment. ABB modernization kit; includes removal of spent AC/DC capacitors and fans, Labor to install new AC/DC capacitors and fans. This quote includes freight. 10. Unless otherwise noted, travel and services are performed between the hours of 8am-5pm Monday -Friday excluding GE holidays. 11. This system has a UPS bypass switch installed so normal patient care can continue during this job.
