Solicitation Questions and Answers Autopsy Assistant Services How do you want the offer submitted?  Interested and capable vendors must submit a quote via email to Lacy.Morgan@va.gov no later than the specified due date and time. Please review ADDENDUM to FAR 52.212-1 INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS AND COMMERCIAL SERVICES on starting on page 71 for further details on what to submit. How do you want the pricing submitted? Vendors must complete the B.2 Price Schedule for all line CLINs under B.2 Price/Cost Schedule. Is there a specific format/form you want me to use (I did not see SF 1449)? Quotes must be submitted in two parts: Part 1 Price and Part 2 Technical. The SF1449 is the first page of the solicitation and shall be signed and submitted by the vendor.  Please reference ADDENDUM to FAR 52.212-1 starting on page 71. How will the proposal be evaluated? This acquisition is being conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible vendor, whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. In accordance with FAR 13.106-2(b)(3), the quotes will undergo a comparative evaluation to determine which quoter provides the best value to the Government based on the information relative to the non-priced factors while also providing a competitive price. Moreover, the Government is not assigning weight to the factors or listing them in any particular order. As a Part 13 acquisition, the Government does not intend on engaging in discussions described in FAR Part 15. As a result, quotes must be complete and conform to the solicitation's requirements described in part in the Addendum to the Instructions to Offerors. Please review VAAR 852.273-73 EVALUATION -HEALTH-CARE RESOURCES. Are there specific requirements for the autopsy assistant? Please refer to the Performance Work Statement starting on page 8.
