This is a notice of intent to sole source a contract under the authority of FAR 13.106- 1(b)(2), only one source being available to meet the Government s need. The contract will be for a base period of 1 Year. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 325412: Pharmaceutical Preparation Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 1,250 Employees. The FSC/PSC is 6505: Drugs and Biologicals. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and award a sole source contract for the Radiopharmaceuticals at Fresno-Central California VA Health Care System to Cardinal Health 414, LLC, 7000 CARDINAL PL, DUBLIN, OH 43017-1091. There are no other sources of supply/service that will satisfy agency requirements. Cardinal Health 414, LLC is the manufacturer, and no other business is authorized to sell or distribute their products. Cardinal Health 414, LLC is the only source capable of providing Radiopharmaceuticals per the Statement of Work (SOW). There are no other companies that were identified that can meet this requirement. If you are not the OEM and a small business, you must indicate in your response how you will comply with limitations on subcontracting and/or the non-manufacturer rule. If no responses are received, the Government will continue with its sole source procurement, and a sole source Request for Quote will be published to contract opportunities in accordance with FAR 5.102.
