POSTING REVISED ON Thursday, September 28, 2023 The intent of this supply request is to be able to remotely dispense medications from a machine directly to patients. The reason for the extended closing date are the following: SOW revision: Mention of brand name and specific manufacturers have been removed SOW revision: To revise the “Table 1 - Items Summary” SOW revision and posted Sources Sought revision: To clarify the intent for the supply request. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21- is conducting a market research survey to identify potential qualified sources capable of providing BRAND NAME OR EQUAL for a Remote Dispensing System for medication/pharmacy at a firm fixed price for a VA Pacific Islands Healthcare System facility. See DRAFT statement of work and salient characteristics attached. RESPONSES MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: - Company Name, Address, Size Standard, SAM UEI#, Cage Code - Capabilities Statement - Contract number (If applicable) - Place of Manufacturing/ Country of Origin - Point of Contact name, phone number, and email address - Authorized distributorship letter from the manufacturer (If applicable). PLEASE NOTE Acquisition solicitations will only be set aside for SDVOSBs/VOSBs, if two or more capable responses that meet the Non-manufacturer Rule are received with the required information listed above and there is an expectation that an award can be made at a fair and reasonable price that offers best value to the Government. Responses are due to Joel Brown at joel.brown6@va.gov by the time and date stated in the General Information section of this posting. No submissions will be accepted after this date and time. This is a Sources Sought Notice and submissions will be used for informational and planning purposes only. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought.
