Alternate: Travis Horn; (559) 333-3033 I don't find the size of the grounds to be maintained. Total facility acreage (inclusive of all buildings, hardscape, landscape, and parking lots) is 19.6 acres. Size of serviced area associated with the contract is to be evaluated during site visit.  Will you provide the acreage, linear Feet of edging, number of trees for pruning, shrubs, etc.? Area and quantities of services included under the contract are to be determined by interested bidders at the site visit. Will you hold a site visit? See date/time above. Is the contractor allowed to store equipment? and supplies on the installation? Is this storage area fenced and gated? There is no space available for the storage of equipment on site. All equipment must be brought to site and removed from site. Do we have parking available? Parking on site is unavailable M-F from 0700-1430. Parking after 1430 is allowed if available. Parking on site is allowed on weekends and between 1430-0700 the following day. Steet parking is available on a first come first served basis. Can we use RTV Carts? Is there electric and water available? RTV carts are permissible however cannot be driving over specialty concrete areas (walk of honor) or interrupt any pedestrian traffic flow. Any damage incurred by use of an RTV cart will be the responsibility of the contractor to resolve. Potable and Irrigation water is available on site. Availability of electricity to the contractor is limited and further clarification of need would be necessary.   Who is t the incumbent contractor? What is the incumbent contract price? Before responding please carefully read and consider the following: As this is a service acquisition, the Small Business Administration and the Federal Acquisition Regulation have a Limitations on Subcontracting requirement. For all small businesses, to include SDVOSB and VOSB, it will not pay more than 50 percent of the amount paid by the Government for contract performance to subcontractors that are not similarly situated entities. Any work that a similarly situated entity further subcontracts will count towards the prime contractor's 50 percent subcontract amount that cannot be exceeded. The contractor shall perform all inspections, certifications, maintenance, and hydrostatic testing of existing fire extinguishers. This shall include annual maintenance/certifications, six-year maintenance and hydrostatic testing required by NFPA 10, 2018. Work shall be performed at the Fresno Campus of the VA Central California Healthcare System (VA CCHCS), 2615 E. Clinton Ave, Fresno, CA, 93703.
