RCS service mission is to provide readjustment counseling to assist eligible individuals resolve war and other trauma related psychosocial and socioeconomic difficulties and to support eligible individuals with their readjustment back into their home communities. Vet Centers provide readjustment counseling through individual, group, and family counseling formats. As specified below, referral for contract readjustment counseling will be limited to the provision of individual, group and family readjustment counseling to eligible individuals. Individuals eligible for readjustment counseling currently include Veterans, Service Members, including National Guard and Reserve personnel, and U.S. Coast Guard members whose military duties involved exposure to traumatic stressors, either within or in support of areas of hostilities, or in response to domestic crises, national or state, or coast guard members engaged in drug interdiction operations. All such duty assignments have the potential for interfering with a successful readjustment to civilian or continuing military life. In addition, the family members of all eligible individuals are eligible to participate in family readjustment counseling as indicated for the readjustment of the eligible individual. ***Reference attached Sources Sought Notice/ Performance Work Statement for complete description***
